Moroccan History
Program Overview
This Maymester course incorporates a 2-week stay in Rabat, Morocco. Students will be taking HIST 3350 Morrocan History in a culturally rich city that is at the crossroads of Middle Eastern, African, and European networks, from the establishment of the early Islamic state in the eighth century through the development of the independent nation-state.
It will trace regional interactions and explore local specificities through themes that include gender and law, religious and ethnic pluralism, and power and politics.

Governance and Service: A Comparative Study of the U.S. and Switzerland
Program Overview
This is a Summer 5-week program in Lugano, Switzerland. Students will be enrolled in PA/PSCI 3310 Managing Government Organizations and PA 2325 Introduction to Public and Nonprofit Management.
These introductory courses in public administration and nonprofit management will explore the topics of governmental processes in decision-making, public policy, and the range of alternatives for public impact.

Culture & Crime in the World Down Under
Program Overview
This is a 5-week program with the first week meeting online and the remaining 4 weeks in Sydney, Australia. The two courses included are PPOL/CRIM/SOC 4396 Australian Indigenous Culture & Justice and PPOL/CRIM/SOC 4396 Comparative Studies in Gender-Based Violence. These courses are cross-listed and students can choose which prefix combination works best for their degree plan (i.e., PPOL 4396 and CRIM 4396).

French Society: Sociological & Political Perspectives
Program Overview
This is a Summer 4-week program in Toulouse, France. Students will be enrolled in SOC 2320 Contemporary Social Issues and PSCI 3303 Civil Liberties.
Students will explore major contemporary social issues in France including problems related to immigration, crime and social control, the rise of the far right, work and the economy, youth and aging, and urban life. The course will also examine areas where the French are known to excel such as health care, the environment, and education. A sociological perspective will be used to analyze these social issues and discuss how the problems are rooted in society rather than within individuals.
